Robertson Moves On

Sean Robertson has moved on to pastures new, although not too far, joining Border Amateur League neighbours Greenlaw. As well as featuring in our own reserve side where he made 14 appearances this season scoring 2 goals he has also featured for the first team over the last couple of seasons making 5 full appearances plus 2 more from the bench scoring 3 goals. Speaking to the clubs official web site Sean told us

“I always enjoyed my time for Duns. I had a great 3/4 years with the Reserves . Matty (Paul Matthewson Reserves Manager) made me the player I am today, always wanted the best out of me. That helped me gain entry to the East of Scotland team and the time I had there has also been great. I’ve had good opportunities with Duns thanks to Matty getting me up to the East of Scotland side and also Carl (Hudson First Team manager) for playing me a lot when I came up. I couldn’t thank them enough for what they’ve done for me. Don’t get me wrong Duns are a good bunch but it was just time for a change but I hope to see Duns East of Scotland and Reserve sides doing well for the rest of the season and also for future seasons”.

The club wishes Sean well for the future.
