Kelso 0-2 Duns

Duns required only a point to clinch the title and in the end picked up all three but oh did they make hard work of it. Duns ‘keeper Phil Smith was called on countless times, particularly in the first half hour of the game when the Dingers rarely managed to get out of their own half.
Maybe it was nerves but the second half saw little improvement from the visitors and Kelso looked the more determined of the two teams, being first to every ball and stronger in the tackle. However, the Dingers kept battling away and were rewarded when Junior Pattenden pounced on a defensive mix up to put Duns 1-0 ahead. Five minutes later a corner kick was scrambled home by Matty Slater to seal the points and the League Championship

Congratulations to Dava and his lads you’ve done the club proud becoming Champions
