Hibernian 6-0 Duns

Despite the scoreline Duns put in a spirited gutsy performance at an immaculate  Hibernian Training Centre at East Mains yesterday. Under a blue sky in the pleasant East Lothian countryside Hibs full time youngsters were supplemented by three, yes three, first team players. Ryan Baptie, Fraser Mullen and Gareth McCaffrey made the home side something of a daunting prospect for the Dingers but they stood up as a team and were counted.

Under the temporary charge of Andy Simpson Duns conceded three in each half. Teams will suffer more heavily, as Hawick can testify, to this talented group but as has been said before “we dun aw right”
