Duns started brightly taking the game to their hosts, creating chances playing downhill the pace often beat the forwards.

Ross Hutchison returned to his scoring ways netting in the 20th minute.

Very much in control The Dingers certainly tested the Rhymers keeper, who was the busier of the 2 goalkeepers, keeping the score at 1..0 to Duns at half time.

Situation was reversed in the second half with Earlston, playing down the slope coming more into the game.
Again the Rhymers keeper came to their rescue bringing of several fine saves.
Duns had the chance to extend their lead on 67 min mark but for a double goal line clearance by the Earlston defence who just managed to keep the ball out of the net.

With time ticking by Earlston dangerous breaking down the right, with their backs to the wall The Dingers defence were absorbing everything that Earlston could through at them.

Duns were keeping possession in the corner winding down the clock when in the 91st minute Brydon lost the ball at the back which was picked up by the Earlston striker who found himself one-on-one with he Duns keeper side footing it past the advancing keeper to get the equaliser.

The game was into the 93rd minute when Liam DeMarco picked the ball up 20 yards out and rounded several defenders to dispatch the ball beyond the keepers left.
