Duns started the 2019/20 season with a hard fought victory against a very strong Harrow side.

Both teams were limited to very few chances in the first half with Duns having the best of them through Luke Strangeways who seen his effort well saved by the Harrow keeper.

Duns went ahead in the second half with Strangeways latching on to a great ball through from Gregor Watson who then calmly rounded the keeper to slot it home.

Centre half pairing of Chisholm & Robertson for Dund were faultless all day however Robertson was extremely unlucky to slip when trying to win the ball and bring down Harrow striker Martin Tait which rather harshly lead to a second yellow for the Duns player.

Tait dispatched the resulting penalty. 1-1 with 20mins remaining.

Duns reacted well and following some good play down the right hand side between Feeney and Bunyan, Bunyan rode a challenge inside the box to strike a low shot into the bottom corner of the net. 2-1 full time.

Duns progress to the quarter finals next Saturday away to Kelso Thistle.

All the best to Tweedmouth Harrow for the rest of the season.
