Duns 3-2 Berwick Rangers Colts

On a bitterly cold afternoon on a day when a number of games had fallen victim to the weather and this game itself having changed venue from Berwick Duns started in attacking mode but it was the Colts who drew first blood in the 21st minute. For the next 10 minutes Duns again went on the offensive but found themselves having to do some defending as the Colts themselves turned defence to attack. With only 2 minutes left in the first half Duns top scorer done it again firing home an equaliser.

As the game recommenced end to end was the ofprder of play but with 48 minutes on the clock the Dingers took the lead for the first time thank to Gary Renton. However in the very next minute the visitors pulled the game level once more, continuing to attack in pursuit of the goal that would put them back in the lead. With 56 gone Duns withdrew Stuart Anderson replacing him with Ross Hutchison.  Berwick went back on the offensive with Duns lucky not to concede. Next change for the home side saw Ethan Pollock replacing Graeme Tait then Zak Todd replacing Ewan Feeney. From a corner Duns should have taken the lead again but the chance was scorned.

With 15 minutes remaining Michael Moran replaced Liam Horne. With the game drawing to a close and a draw looking likely it was that man again, as Sean Robertson fired home the winner for the league leaders.

Duns reinforced their top of the table position with these three points and look to next weeks game at Kelso.
